This week, Pastor Mike Lee preaches from James chapter 2, verses 14-26. In this passage, James shares a convicting truth about faith: that without works, it is dead, demonic, and useless.

This Sunday was very important for Mission Valley Church. We installed 3 men into the role of elder. Matt Johnson, Andy Abbott, and Alfie Safa will serve the church by working with Pastor Mike to take care of the members of Mission Valley Church.

On Easter Sunday, we celebrate that Jesus is alive. And because Jesus walked out of the tomb, we can be alive in him. This Easter Sunday, Pastor Mike preached from Matthew chapter 28, explaining that we are meant to go tell everyone this fantastic news.

On Good Friday, we remember the sacrifice that God made by sending his son to die for our sins. Pastor Mike discussed Jesus' prayer in the garden before being crucified. He said, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” We learn everything that was in that cup that Jesus did consume.
