And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb

Or, sans la foi, il est impossible d’être agréable à Dieu, car il faut que celui qui s'approche de lui croie que Dieu existe et qu'il récompense ceux qui le cherchent

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Par la foi nous comprenons que les mondes ont été créés par la parole de Dieu, de sorte que les choses visibles n'ont pas été faites de choses visibles.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
