November 11th, 1998, four missionaries and one senior missionary serving for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began a long trip to Las Vegas, NV from Elko, NV in a transfer van pulling a large luggage trailer.  They anticipated a long but easy drive down to Las Vegas.  During the night, snow had unexpectedly blanketed the ground.  Nothing out of the ordinary for Northern Nevada this time of year.  What they didn't realize is that it would have an impact on all of them and create a story to remember and tell for generations to come.  

What is referred to as Missionary Miracle, a wreck that should have killed everyone involved, allowed for everyone come out alive and all walked away with the exception of Andrew Blamires.  Andrew suffered the most traumatic of the injuries with compound fractures on both femurs.  

Andrew exercised faith and courage to go through surgery and therapy and eventually make it back to finish his missionary service.  

Jared Murray, Jason Barnum, and Jackson Howell share their personal experiences from the wreck while sharing excerpts from a personal account shared by President Richard B. Whitaker of what he experienced while sitting in the missionary transfer conference the day before the wreck.
