Through this series, we meet leaders from Australian Baptist Churches who are engaging with their local community in creative ways. In this episode, Nathan Reid heads to the heart of Sydney to meet with the Central Baptist Church team. He's heard great things about the vibrant Thai congregation, and he wants to find out more! He sits down with Pastor Nun, who leads the Thai congregation, Senior Pastor John and Kitty, one of the emerging leaders.

In this conversation, you'll hear how sharing God's love in practical ways sparked the forming of the Thai congregation, their global Kingdom vision and the complexities they navigate as a church with four congregations, all meeting in different languages. 

Pastor John sums it up beautifully, sharing: "With all our diversity, I pray that we'd be remarkable. That the light of Jesus would shine out from us and people would think, ‘God is at work'."

1. What surprises, challenges or inspires you in this story?
2. Pastor John says in the conversation, "With all our diversity, I pray that we'd be remarkable." How can you see God at work through the diversity of your church community?
3. The Thai congregation was born out of acts of simple, practical love. How is your church responding to the needs of your community? Are there new missional opportunities you could step into as you seek to reach out? 
4. What does it mean for your church to honour cultural diversity, while hold tightest to a unified 'Jesus culture'? In what ways has this been done well or poorly in the past? 
5. As you reflect on this example of active love, welcome and one-ness, what questions are being prompted about your church's local and global mission engagement?

In the fourth and final episode of our What's Love Look Like? series, our guests are Villy and Danielle. Villy has recently marked 25 years serving in Thailand with her husband Muana, and Danielle leads the mission team at Narara Valley Baptist Church - one of Muana and Villy's long-term partnering churches.

Throughout the conversation, Villy and Danielle talk with host Nathan about their experience of missional collaboration and how each is encouraged by the other as they partner across the globe. They also share stories about opportunities God has opened up for them to share His love. This is a hopeful and dynamic episode. Enjoy!

In episode three of our What's Love Look Like? series, we meet Cate and Sam. Cate serves in Cambodia with her husband KimLean, and Sam has recently joined our Australian Intercultural Team, serving among Indian communities in Brisbane. 

Sam and Cate are passionate and faithful followers of Jesus with lots of encouraging stories and ministry updates. Together with host Nathan, Cate and Sam explore the idea of being 'in-betweeners' - people who see that the world is not as it should be, and look for opportunities to partner with God in sharing His peace, hope and love.

In this episode we continue our What's Love Look Like? series by hearing from Bek and Andrew. Bek has been serving in Mozambique with Scott and their five children for over 15 years, and Andrew is our NSW/ACT State Leader and Team Leader for our Australian Intercultural Team.
