As Jesus stands trial before the religious leaders, false accusations fly and justice is ignored. Yet in the face of it all, He remains silent. Why? The innocent One is condemned so that the guilty might be declared righteous—calling us to both rejoice in the Gospel and learn to trust God even in the face of injustice.

In this special anniversary service, we look back with gratitude for all the Lord has done—and look ahead with renewed purpose. Walking through Philippians 3:12–16, we’re reminded that while we celebrate the past, we are not called to live in it. Like Paul, we press on—forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. Because Christ Jesus has made us His own, we move forward with a singular focus: to know Him more, to make His name known, and to pursue the eternal prize He has promised. As we reflect on the last 20 years, we also ask: what will define the next 20? By God’s grace, we will continue reaching the lost, strengthening the weak, and encouraging the faithful with the Gospel.

In Matthew 26:36–46, we enter the Garden of Gethsemane and witness Jesus in deep anguish as He prepares to go to the cross. As the weight of bearing sin and facing the Father’s wrath presses in, Jesus responds not by turning away, but by falling on His face in prayer and submitting fully to the will of God: “Not my will, but Yours.” In this powerful passage, we see both the depth of Christ’s suffering and the perfection of His obedience. This sermon calls us to follow His example—bringing our burdens honestly to God, trusting His will even when it’s hard, and watching and praying so that we may stand firm in the face of trials and temptation.

In a world full of suffering and empty platitudes, true hope is found only in the risen Jesus Christ. According to 1 Peter 1:3–5, our salvation is entirely God’s work, given by His mercy—not our effort—and secured through the Resurrection of Christ. Because the tomb is empty, we have a living hope, an eternal inheritance, and a salvation that is guarded by God Himself. No matter our circumstances, our confidence and hope rest in this unshakable truth: Christ is alive, and in Him, we are saved.

In Matthew 26:31–35, Jesus predicts the disciples’ scattering and Peter’s denial, revealing both the weakness of even His closest followers and His sovereign control over what is to come. Though confident in their own strength, the disciples are shown to be prone to wander—just as we are—often drifting not in a moment, but over time through pride and self-reliance.

Yet even in predicting their failure, Jesus promises their restoration. He is already preparing to forgive and receive them back after His resurrection. This passage reminds us that while we are all prone to wander, Christ is always ready to forgive—and our hope is not in our faithfulness to Him, but in His grace toward us.

In this sermon, we explore the Last Supper as the first Communion, emphasizing its profound significance for believers today. Jesus points His disciples beyond the Passover of the past, focusing on the cross, the new covenant, and the coming Heavenly Kingdom, inviting us to commune with Him and one another with hearts of reflection, gratitude, and hope. As we approach the Lord’s Table, we are called to savor the reality of our redemption, the assurance of Christ’s covenant, and the joy of the future celebration in His Kingdom.

Matthew 26:14-25 contrasts Judas' rejection with Mary’s costly worship, and reminds us that proximity to Christ alone does not save. It emphasizes God’s sovereignty, showing that even human evil and betrayal were woven into His redemptive plan, ultimately pointing to Jesus as the True Passover Lamb. The message calls believers to trust God’s control over their own trials and to respond with repentance and faith.

In Matthew 26:1–13, as the road to the cross begins, Jesus predicts His death while a woman (Mary) anoints Him with costly perfume in an act of sacrificial worship. While the disciples miss the point and the religious leaders reject the Savior, Mary demonstrates that true devotion to Christ is never wasted, no matter the cost. Her example calls believers to wholehearted worship of the One who gave everything for our salvation.

Colossians 3:16-17 shows us that worship is meant to be a true response to God and His Word. Worship flows from the Word, happens in community, is directed to the Lord, and extends beyond a song to every area of life.
