This week, we take a deep dive into what it takes to construct an entirely new database--from the ground up--of a database that not only collects data on the missing and unidentified, but hopes to use that research to assist the communities least likely to receive resources, and most likely to remain unidentified after death. We analyze the construction of the new Mississippi Repository for the Missing and Unidentified, explore its unique "mapping" system for identifying clusters of the missing, and speak with its creators, two MSU professors, Drs.
