I shouted—I had never seen anything like that before.
She said, “It’s yours, you found it,” as we kneeled down together to get a closer look. Almost like we saw something sacred, well, we had!
It was a full snakeskin, lying there in the woods, perfectly intact. Nature’s own demonstration of shedding—of transformation. A complete renewal, yet still the same being. Ecdysis—one of the most magical (cough, cough, I mean natural) processes for all living beings. And this is exactly what MissLYX Podden wishes to offer: a gentle transformation through honest conversations about mental health, addiction, and aligning these cycles with the moon itself. Because we know life is not a straight journey from pain to success, and as MissLYX Podden always stated, let's talk about it when we are in the process. Let us chat about it when we are limping a bit, in pain. To understand the moon is also to release shame and guilt around failure. To know that we get to try again, and again.
Thank you, incredible Wicca artist and art therapist Paola Violá, for your voice and words. Just like the snake, when we share conversations about trauma, life, and the dark woods, we too have the possibility to shed some skin—and perhaps move a little more freely through life. .. at least together. As always, you matter most. Please comment or get in touch if you have thoughts about this episode. And don’t forget to follow and share.
