Missouri, like many states around the nation, is switching to an "endemic strategy" of approaching COVID-19. This will cause a big shift in how the state approaches public health, and how it reports data on the disease.

We spoke with independent science journalist and COVID-19 researcher Betsy Ladyzhets, who helped break this story for the Missouri Independent, about what this will mean for Missouri residents.
