On April 18, 2016, 45-year-old fitness instructor Missy Bevers arrived early to teach a morning boot camp class at Creekside Church of Christ in Midlothian, Texas.

Inside the church, security cameras captured a strange and unsettling scene: a person dressed in tactical gear wandering the hallways, opening doors, and appearing to wait.

Less than an hour later, Missy was found dead.
