Mistakes Made in Negotiation When Another Investor in Unknowingly in the Room and How It Still Turned into a Deal

In this episode, Mike shares a recent story about how an aggressive seller got him to offer a price and then ended up going with a different investor (who actually happened to be in the room with the seller). The investor didn't know how to close the deal and actually reached out to Mike the day before closing to see if he could actually help him to close the deal. There are numerous lessons in this example of how to stay in control of a situation when the seller is aggressive, chooses another investor, and ultimately ends up moving forward with him in the end because of her confidence in his ability to close.
