In collaboration with Queenscliff Gallery and Workshop, playwright Kat Moritz will be presenting a reading of her latest play, Alcestis – an adaptation of Euripides’ play– as part of this year’s Queenscliff Literary Festival. Esteemed actors Lachlan Woods and Laura Burzacott under the direction of Bryce Ives will present a reading of Kat’s work that emphasises the relevance of the epic to our lives today. John Brewster appeared on Mitchell’s Front Page to talk about the upcoming tour of The Angels to the Gateway Hotel. The tour is called Recharged- No Exit 40 Years On and celebrates the 40th anniversary of the release of their third album. The band will play at the Gateway Hotel on July 12.
