Mixed Tag

On this very special episode of Mixed Tag, throw everything you know about our show out the window! This is a deep dive, methodical, entertaining look at the idea of "What If.... Sting had signed with the WWF and Ultimate Warrior had signed with the NWA?". Jared & Keith are joined by the only person who could help pull this off - Dr. Phillip Reese, host of "History's What If" Podcast! Together, they break down all the scenarios that could have taken place with two former tag team partners swapping their careers and the organizations they joined, with their vastly different personalities altering the course of their successes and failures. You've REALLY got to listen to what Keith cooks up for the Ultimate Warrior's life after wrestling! And tune in to find out what Dr. Reese reveals to be the replacement for the Warrior gimmick with what Vince McMahon had in mind! Where some things change, some things remain VERY much the same! Enjoy, Tag Gang!

It’s STIIIIIIING!!! One of the greatest surprise appearances of the last decade happened on a stacked Wednesday night of pro wrestling, and, of course, we are covering both a great MLW Fusion episode and AEW: Winter is Coming! Joined by the “Floridian Villain” (and music sensation?!) himself, Cam Manning, your boys Jared & Keith also pay tribute to the incredible man with a tremendous career and contribution to the business; Hall of Famer Pat Patterson, who passed away at the age of 79. It’s a big show with big topics, so join in!

NWA SHOCKWAVE! MLW FUSION! AEW: WINTER IS COMING! This is all happening in two days, so we just HAD to get an episode out before the NWA kicked things off! Check out the preview and enjoy three great shows! It's never been a better time to be a pro wrestling fan, for true alternatives to sports entertainment!

If you're not interested in two grown men being grateful and letting it be known, this isn't your episode! But, if you can handle all the feels, come be a part of some real positivity.  In addition to all that, Keith is joined by his dad, Grier, in an interview that gives insight into their generational bond with pro wrestling.  Also - it's the THANKSGIVING TRADITION! A breakdown of great moments in history from the annual Survivor Series PPV, including Keith's phone call into Busted Open Radio! Apparently he and Dave LaGreca share something in common? Listen and find out!

Great Scott! There was a lot of news to cover in this episode, as our intrepid broadcast journalists Jared and Keith braved all the stories.  Talking AEW Dynamite recap, the big news of the week that MLW Fusion RETURNED with #TheRestart!! Keith damn near lost his mind with that. Also newsworthy was Zelina Vega being fired for the WWE for speaking out about their new policy restricting third party app use and extra revenue streams.  Shad Gaspard being pitched for the WWE Warrior Award, Jon Moxley and Renee Young's pregnancy announcement, and the Wrestlers of the Week?! Throw in some side notes and tangents - that's a packed and stacked card! It's like an AEW Dark episode, how do they fit it all in?! You'll have to listen to hear for yourself.

This week, RJ from "Ringside Rant" Podcast stops by to talk about AEW Full Gear, reactions and grades, baby Nate also adds in his two cents, an uncharacteristically weak episode of AEW Dynamite is dissected.  Jared & Keith get into the previews of the AEW video games coming to mobile devices and next gen consoles.  It's also Undertaker Month over at WWE Network, AND given that it's Veteran's Day week, the co-hosts make sure to shout out the professional wrestlers and everyday men & women who have served in our nation's military.  Last but not least? A coronation of sorts, a christening, for your man Jared Watson!!!

A busy episode for sure! As our friend Tim Storm says, "Don't miss this, this is the real deal."

Be sure to check out "Ringside Rant" wherever you get your podcasts, and support all your friendly neighborhood podcasters out there of this culture we love!

It's here! AEW Full Gear is Saturday November 7, 2020, and Jared and Keith have all the match descriptions, insights, and analysis you could ever need! Listen before the show, and see if our predictions come true!

Your boys welcome in to the show, the NEW reigning, defending NWA Worlds Television Champion, a former WWE and ECW Superstar, TNA/Impact wrestler and commentator, Jacksonville’s native son, “The Pope”, Elijah Burke!!! The conversation ranges wide, and you might just learn something about the man you never knew before! This one was a treat, we think you’ll feel the same! Make sure to head over to www.love-alive.org and consider donating to a fine charity!

Jared... sticking up for and PRAISING WWE?! ‘The Wrestling Encyclopedia’... critical of The Rock?! RJ from “Ringside Rant”... with a heel turn?! This episode is wild and truly covers WWE, AEW, MLW, IMPACT, and NWA. Plus, ‘tis the season.... for some scary $h*t!!! Listen.... if you dare!!!

Dem boys have a heck of a good time going over the AEW Dynamite episode, with THAT singing duet over a steak dinner... plus the overdue Eddie Guerrero birthday tribute as only they can do! Plus, anticipation builds for Dark Side of the Ring Season 3. Wrapping up with Wrestlers of the Week, it’s a jam packed and fun show you don't want to miss!
