PT 3: Kate Toon is an award-winning misfit entrepreneur, down to earth human and parent of one kid. Through her Stay Tooned group of companies, she's on a mission to demystify digital marketing and has helped over 10,000 businesses to date.

In our third and final episode, we talk about why she believes the world will wait, rediscovering her interests outside of being a parent and a business owner and what she wishes someone would have told her years ago.

    • Rediscovering something outside of parenting and business to continue learning, growing and being better
    • Things she wishes she knew before becoming a parent and entrepreneur – understanding parental guilt and avoiding burnout
    • The kind of world she hopes her kid grows up in

Thanks to Kate for taking time out of her day to speak with me about about all things parenthood, time and cashflow management and what it’s been like to build her group of companies during school hours over the past 15 years.

  • TEASER | Season 5 coming to your podcast networks from May through July 2023!

🚼📊 Send us a listener question or episode feedback!

INTRO: My name is Amy Lynch and I'm the host and producer of the Mixing Babies And Business™ Podcast.

This short teaser episode features my three kids (currently ages 6, 4 and 1) and I.  We recorded this quick clip after dinner earlier this month and did all of the things podcast pros tell you NOT to do:

    • move the mic while speaking
    • laugh loudly and directly into the mic (edits were needed)
    • interrupt each other
    • freeze and recorrect while recording

Mini episodes will launch this Spring and continue throughout Summer 2023, covering all things entrepreneurship, flexible and remote work with kids!

I've been recording interviews with guests over the past two months from my home office/podcast studio around the toddler's nap times and while the older two are in school...

BUT I am very excited as it's the first Season where I have a couple guests based across time zones with a 10-15 hour difference with Ottawa, Canada, so recording is also happening at dinner/bed/bath time.

I have over 60 previous episodes from Seasons 1-4 for you to listen to while you wait.

Thanks for joining me – please share it with your network of parents and leave a review!

Season 5 has been sponsored by the Startup Women Fund, presented by Startup Canada, Scotiabank and UPS.
