I want to elevate Jesus in my life because He is better than everything!

God spoke to us by His Son.

Jesus:

* made the universe

* is the exact representation of God

* is the one who created the world and holds it together

* provided...

Worship arises out of our past experience (condition of origin), out of our present experience with God, and out of our hope for the future.

THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT JESUS. How does that interact with the Mission we are called to? Respond to God's love by being Reconciled to God. Be an Ambassador of Reconciliation.

Seek God and Do Good.

Cultivate love for God and humanity by generously serving those in need and keeping God's commandments.

This will require endurance.

The Church as the Bride of Christ. Jesus

1) made God available to the people,

2) taught who God is

3) did good.

The dearest object on earth to God is His church. COL 165.

It's about God!

God desires to be with His people and dwell among them.

Jesus has removed the alienation for those who were far from God.

Foreigners have now _become_ the Temple!

Already: God's Kingdom came with Jesus.

Not Yet: God's Kingdom will come again in Totality

Jesus' Ministries:

1. Doing good. Healing the sick, feeding the hungry

2. Teaching good news, truth, kingdom values
