And we’re back! It’s October and there’s nothing like a solid, dreamy, provocative progressive house mix on a fall day. Well, I’d like to think that at least. Dave’s back on the wheels of plastic and aluminum bringing you just that. We’ve got some great NEW progressive house tracks mixed in with some classics. Add to that the Uniquely Yours debut of Dave’s collaboration track with J Lauda, The Path. All this adds up to a set that you won’t want to miss.
Well, we’re back with another mix this month. We’re gonna get a bit weird here by jumping genres all over the place. Featured in this mix are tracks from well… keep on reading. All I can say is that this one is a wild ride almost from the start. Stick with it, it pays off in the end.
Welcome to season 7 of MK837 presents Uniquely Yours. Dave’s changed things up a bit for the new season. It’s still the same great show, but we’ve got a brand spankin’ new intro for you and artwork. So, get your explorer’s hat on and let’s dig into a new Uniquely Yours with Dave Richards.
Summer is in full swing now and the heat has been off the charts in some places. Welcome to Dave’s unofficial 6th annual 4th of July mix for Uniquely Yours. It’s about as star spangled as you can get without the fireworks, flag, and that freaky Uncle Sam.
If you love sets multi-genre sets, you’re in for a real treat this month. Dave starts it out with some solid progressive house but quickly moves on to minimal / deep tech and tech house. The only downside to this mix is that it’s only an hour long!
Never fear though, last month we started a new podcats series called The Guest List. The first episode featured Saku Newmoon and this month, Francisco Samuel will be joining us. The Guest Mix one of our exclusive offerings on Patreon.com. Check us out at Patreon.com/MK837 to learn more.
Summer is finally here, and Dave is ready for some fun. In this action-packed set, Dave brings you the latest from MK837 and then reaches back into the archives of his library for some tracks that he’s either never played or hasn’t played in a very long time. A few of these go back to 2016 and 2017. Get ready for a genre jumping set that will keep you grooving for the next hour.
Life has been pretty intense for the past two months. Dave has his studio back together – sorta. It’s a mess, but mostly functional. There are still synths in boxes and boxes of cables, but the bulk of everything has been reassembled and compacted for more enjoyment.
Given the Dave’s absence last month, he put the extra effort in to give you more than two hours of music this month. He’s loading you up with some classic remixes, tons of tracks from our “progressive elders” and of course some of the latest from MK837’s artists. So, get ready. This one’s epic!
You’re in for a treat this month. Dave had to do a last-minute tear down of his studio so the floors could be repair (don’t ask). As a result, Ayzk Rovshan is taking over the wheels of aluminum and plastic. So get ready for an awesome guest mix that’s not to be missed from this former MK837 artist.
So, who is Ayzk Rovshan? Glad you asked!
Ayzk Rovshan, with over 14 years of experience behind the turntables and 6 years of crafting electronic music, has earned recognition in the Minimal House genre. His music has captivated audiences worldwide, performing in various countries such as Romania and Georgia. His collaborations with different music labels from around the world showcase his commitment to constantly evolving his creative work and standing out with his unique sound, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Full confession time, in case you didn’t notice earlier, this is Dave’s first time behind the decks in about two months. Life has been EXTREMELY busy, but he’s making up for that absence now with a 2-hour extended set rather than just an additional half-hour. It’s almost all progressive house and melodic house and techno, so buckle up. This one is fire. Lots of new music and a few obscure older tracks that you may not have heard yet.
Sit back or get up and DANCE. Whatever you do, make sure that it’s unique. And… if you like this set, please like, share, comment and/or review. That helps others to find the show and enjoy it just like you did.
January proved to be a great start for the label in 2024. That said, chaos struck towards the end of the month and Dave had to deal with several family issues. Never fear though, Dave came through with a quick mini mix of February’s new releases and a longer set from his personal archives. So, join him now in both taking a step into the future and then stepping back into the past. This one’s a bit of a wild ride and oddly a bit shorter than expected.
Last month, Dave dropped a killer retrospective mix of his tunes. This month we’re mostly looking forward at what’s cooking at MK837 for Q1 of 2024. We’ve got some new artists joining our returning masters of house and techno. We’ve also got several of the tracks from our last Mark’s Prime Cuts series mixed in here as well since we didn’t get a moment to promote it as well when it came out in early December. And with that, get your dancing shoes on or head to the car and play this set at high volume wherever you go today.
