Carlos Ulberg made a statement, and sent a message to Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira in the process on Saturday night in the main event of UFC Perth. Is Ulberg next in line for a title fight after next weekend's pay-per-view card in Las Vegas?
Following the UFC's latest Fight Night event, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck, Jed Meshew, and E. Casey Leydon react to Ulberg's brutal knockout win over Dominick Reyes, discuss if the win gets him the next championship fight at 205 pounds, and if this was the end of Reyes' title hopes for good. Additionally, they discuss the chaos of Neil Magny's comeback submission win over Jake Matthews, Jimmy Crute's unique submission, other moments from the event, and much more.

Wrestlepoloza is over, thankfully. And we’re back with SmackDown. Let’s see how WWE can disappoint us this week shall we?
We start the night with Paul Heyman and Cody Rhodes. After some back and forth the Brons show up and a beatdown starts to occur. Randy Orton comes out to make the save, setting up teases of both Brons vs Cody/Randy, and an eventual Cody/Randy feud.
Our first match of the evening is a Tag Team Contenders Match to take on the Wyatt Sicks. Street Profits take on Melo Don’t Miz. This was a good match and continued to tell the story of Melo and Miz not being on the same page. Miz jumps into match and Melo doesn’t break up the pin… the break up will happen soon.
We then get a Women’s Tag Match with Giulia & Kiana James taking on Michin & B-Fab. The less that can be said about this the better.
Drew McIntyre, embracing the show in Florida comes out spewing conspiracy theories and in a walking boot. Jacob Fatu came out and beat him up.
Match of the Night tonight was the US Title Open Challenge with Je’von Evans taking on Sami Zayn. These open challenges have been great matches these last 4 weeks. We nervously await Shinsuke Nakamura who is seen lurking backstage before the match. Maybe he’s next?
Our title tonight comes from the Damion Priest/Kit Wilson interaction backstage. I enjoyed this. Brad is fearful that we’re getting more Priest/Black.
And this is the point to turn off the show. Because the least that can be said about the Main Event of Tiffy, Nia and Jade the better.

The light heavyweight title is on the line at UFC 320 next week, but the UFC Perth main event could produce a surprising No. 1 contender.
Carlos Ulberg takes on Dominick Reyes on Saturday and while the two have taken vastly different paths to get to this spot, what they have in common are a string of results that have pushed them towards title contention. Will the surging Ulberg make it nine straight wins to force the matchmakers to consider a fresh challenger, or will the resurgent Dominick Reyes continue his storybook march towards a second championship opportunity?
Ahead of Saturday's Fight Night event at RAC Arena, MMA Fighting's Alexander K. Lee and Jed Meshew figure out where Ulberg and Reyes fit in the picture with Magomed Ankalaev, Alex Pereira, Jiri Prochazka, and Khalil Rountree all in action soon, plus what to make of a 13-fight card that has struggled to sell tickets and to capture the attention of fans. Additionally, the crew debates whether Neil Magny is a future Hall of Fame inductee, who has the chance to steal the show, and we take listener questions and comments.

Paddy Pimblett continued his feud with Ilia Topuria while angling for a fight in Madrid. Then, did Conor McGregor really demand $100 million to fight on The White House card? And how does the UFC plan to handle an outdoor event? Plus, Matt Brown calls McGregor vs. Michael Chandler on the main card a “completely irrelevant fight.”
Later, why doesn’t Ciryl Gane do a better job promoting his fight with Tom Aspinall? And why I’m not convinced Ronda Rousey’s workout videos mean anything about a return to MMA. Finally, Gable Steveson is set to make his boxing debut in the Dirty Boxing Championship.
