He done did it. Khamzat Chimaev basically pitched a perfect game against Dricus du Plessis at UFC 319, making it look EASY en route to one of the more lopsided decision wins you will ever witness in a championship fight. DDP showed up looking uniquely ill-equipped to stop Chimaev’s all-out takedown assault. And Ya Boi Borz? He looked so dominant people got mad at him for not doing more.

So, now that the long-heralded Chimaev Era is finally underway at 185 pounds ... shouldn’t we be more excited?

Plus, how does Michael Page keep doing this? And where are we at with Aaron Pico now?

Also, what do you get when you cross one of light heavyweight’s most dangerous knockout artists with the guy who routinely gets knocked out in the funniest possible way? You get UFC Fight Night: Johnny Walker vs. Zhang Mingyang.

UFC 319 is in the books, and I begin with the top 10 moments from Saturday night in Chicago. Then, I react to the narrative that the main card was “boring,” and whether that’s fair. Plus, after Khamzat Chimaev’s domination of Dricus du Plessis, I’ll tell you how Chimaev's next opponent can beat him.

Also, what's next for Aaron Pico following his brutal loss to Lerone Murphy? And finally, TUF 33 wrapped up on Saturday ... and Team Sonnen won (technically).

Chapters:

• UFC 319 top moments (00:00)
• Boring main event? (16:46)
• Best chance at beating Chimaev (26:04)
• Next for Aaron Pico (35:35)
• I won The Ultimate Fighter (43:57)

On the latest episode of The Fighter vs. The Writer, Matt Brown and Damon martin react to everything that unfolded at UFC 319 including Khamzat Chimaev shutting down Dricus du Plessis to become middleweight champion in the main event. As dominant as it was, did Chimaev deserve criticism for not taking more chances to potentially go for a finish? Plus we discuss Aaron Pico suffering a devastating knockout loss in his octagon debut and where Lerone Murphy goes from here with that win. We’ll also talk about Carlos Prates’ spinning back elbow knockout and where he ranks among the hardest hitting welterweights of all time plus much more.
