After losing her baby, Eilir, to miscarriage earlier this year, Catherine opens up her heart to create a safe space for other moms who are also struggling in the after + in the waiting.

It wasn’t until she found herself at rock bottom, nearly escaping death, that she ran to the One true Healer, God!

Clare speaks on soo many topics that we as survivors of sexual abuse can relate to- the choices we make, the need for control, + the searching, etc… It doesn’t matter how much healing I’ve done as a survivor, hearing other women share the same struggles helps me find even more healing, knowing I am not the only one + the reminder that there’s nothing wrong with me. Or you, friend. We were doing our best to be ok, in the only way our nervous system knew how until we finally stopped running + let God truly heal us.

And today + everyday, we have the honor of celebrating the new creation that Clare is in the mighty + loving name of Jesus! We get to celebrate with her as she continues to walk in healing + freedom as she shares her full testimony for the first time!!! What a testament to who our King Jesus is + ALL He can do!!!

Kelly shares her testimony on how God graciously met her in the middle of her broken marriage + has used her story to bring Him glory + draw her closer to Him.

We pray this episode meets you where you are + you feel less alone + less full of shame as we meet with you at the well. We pray this ignites hope + restoration in marriages that aren’t abusive or repetitively impure, + we pray it comforts those who have endured either. We also pray that it brings healing + comfort to anyone whose story is “simply” divorce, because the truth is, God still + has always loved you.

Like the Samaritan woman at the well, God sees you as you are, knows every part of your story, + still chooses you. He isn’t afraid to be seen with you. He isn’t afraid to talk with you. He sent Jesus for you. For me. For us.

So we could find healing despite our sin or the sins of others. But we have to choose Him to find that healing + grace. We have to be willing to + ready to become less like ourselves + more like Him - to face our failures + weaknesses head on. To face our pain + deepest struggles.

God can, 100%, heal + restore even the most broken marriage. He can restore trust when trust has been broken. He can take away abuse + anger. He can heal. But you have to choose Him. You have to be willing to tell Jesus the truth when He asks you who you are.

The doctor told her husband she probably won’t make it through the night, that she would never be the same if she did, but her husband + their church came together to lean on God because He has the final say!

Catherine stumbles over her thoughts + is left speechless because of the goodness of God. Prepare for the same!

*you’ll hear me introduce Savanna as a friend from high school. I planned on fixing it with an edit, but I wanted to be vulnerable here. After our conversation, Savanna mentioned her mom + for some reason, I knew I knew her mom, but I didn’t know why. I was trying to figure out what my mind was trying to show me, + then like a flood, every memory came back. I actually went to church with Savanna during the time I was experiencing my memories from my own abuse coming back + walking through severe depression, bullying, + suicidal ideation/attempts. My brain blocked out my real memories + took me to a different place of why I knew Savanna. Trauma does this + I wanted you all to know that it’s ok to still face moments like this. There isn’t anything wrong with you. Your mind is just trying to protect you. You don’t have to cover it up. You can be real here + walk through it all, safely. I’m grateful for a mind that wants to protect me, but wow am I so grateful for how far God has brought me in my healing journey!*

After Julia and her husband had their first fight, she sat on the floor crying not knowing what to do or who to turn to. She knew she wanted a healthy marriage, so she ran to God + He has been leading their family ever since.

She shares her heart with us about getting married at a young age, healing generational trauma, + pursuing God in order to create a healthy marriage led by God, which she had no idea what that even looked like.
