  • Round Two Recap, Round Three Preview, and Maple Leafs Roster Moves
Alex and Chace are back after a week off and have plenty to talk about. Including a recap of the round two of the NHL playoffs. To begin, they start with a surprising sweep in the East. Breaking down why the Florida Panthers didn't deserve to be swept but where they go from here. Alex looks at how easy it will be to run back the core and why despite a lack of draft capital, they might be in an OK position.
From there, they switch out West and look at both series that wrapped up. They also preview the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche series. Discussing what will need to go right for Edmonton and why "David vs Goliath" should be what this matchup is touted as. Connor McDavid is playing some incredible hockey, the guys examine if that can continue. Finally, they take a look at some contract signings and a retirement in the NHL world. Tune in for all of this and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast!

  • 2022 NHL Awards
Alex and Chace are back after a week off. This week, they are taking a look at the 2022 NHL awards. With the playoffs starting next week, they figured this was the best time to recap everything that has happened this season with an awards show. To start, they take a look at the Calder and Jack Adams trophies. Discussing why they both have left out the player who might be the favourite to win the Calder this season. With the Jack Adams, there is a consensus pick, however, both Alex and Chace admit there are a bunch of good candidates.
From there, they look at the three biggest awards in the Vezina, Norris, and Hart. A very rare occurrence for these award shows is how many players Alex and Chace agree on. Alex also throws in some honourable mentions as they talk about other players who have had amazing years that just missed the mark. Finally, they wrap it up with a Selke conversation and look at why someone who has won a few Selke's maybe undeservingly, absolutely deserves it this year.

  • Matthews vs McDavid and Colorado Avalanche Season with AvsRobin
Welcome back to another episode of the MnM Hockey Podcast! Today, Alex and Chace have a bunch of topics to hit from the week. Including a debate between the two on who would you take first when starting a franchise? Auston Matthews or Connor McDavid? It is very fair to say Matthews is having the better year, however, can you really say he's the best player? The guys debate both sides of the argument. They also look at the playoff picture and what losing Drew Doughty means for the LA Kings playoff chances.
Finally, they have a guest join them! AvsRobin joins the podcast to discuss the Colorado Avalanche season and what to expect heading into the playoffs. Is he worried about underlying numbers? What has such a dominant season been like to watch? As well, what does the team need to do to change the playoff outcomes from the past few seasons? They look over all of that and more!

  • Iron Man Streak, Playoff News, and Career GamePart Two
Welcome back to another MnM Hockey Podcast! Today, Alex and Chace recap the NHL news they missed over the past 10 days or so. They didn't get to record last week because of school, however, that leaves them with plenty to discuss now. Including the passing of Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk. The guys send their condolences and agree now is not the right time for any speculation. From there, they get into a lengthy discussion about Keith Yandle and his Iron Man streak coming to an end. Why it shouldn't be a huge deal but also trying to play contrarian as well.
After that, they take a look at the playoff race in the East and West, including who they want to see make it from each division. They also discuss Auston Matthews and his insane goal pace, which quickly got outdated as he posted yet another three goals on Tuesday night after they recorded. Finally, they get a good laugh out of the Evgenii Dadonov trade situation and play part two of the NHL career game.

  • Full NHL Trade Deadline Review
Alex and Chace are back after a very busy NHL trade deadline! If you missed any of it, you can find all the deals at Last Word on Hockey. However, Alex and Chace run through everything in this episode. Today, it is their longest episode yet. Stretching almost two full hours, the guys look at every single trade. Giving you in-depth analysis of what they think and grading each teams deadline.
However, not every trade is something they agree on. In fact, they have a very big debate surrounding did the Tampa Bay Lightning do the right thing with spending two first-round picks on Brandon Hagel? Alex thinks the move was really smart, whereas Chace was not near as sold. Later, Alex loses it on his favourite team for not learning anything from past mistakes. It is a loaded episode and you don't want to miss a second. Which teams bought the best? Got the most value? What about teams that should have sold but didn't? It is all discussed here.

  • Trades and Signings Before the Trade Deadline, Leafs, and Golden Knights
Alex and Chace are back after a partial week off as they have lots to talk about. The NHL Trade Deadline is fast approaching. With that, also means lots of NHL trades and signings to look at. Some teams are extending their players that we thought might be trade pieces. Others are getting ahead of the game and moving players before the deadline. This not only potentially sets the market, but allows for teams to get accustomed to their new players a little sooner too.
Alex and Chace take a look at all of the trades and signings that have happened over the past week. The guys also discuss what they think the market may be like and who they think might move. With some teams pulling out, could it actually be a buyer's market? If so, does that lead to less overall movement? The guys hope for the best and discuss their thought process through it all.

  • Kyle Davidson Hired, Playoff Race, and New Career Game
The guys are back with another week of content. This week, they take a look at the Chicago Blackhawks finally hiring a new General Manager. They hired Kyle Davidson to be their General Manager. Alex and Chace get a laugh out of the fact that after all the talk about new hiring practices, they go with the guy who has been there for over 10 years. Regardless, they look at the future of the team and what needs to be done to avoid being 24th every season.
They also discuss the playoff race in each division, looking at the odds for who may win the division. It is only the Atlantic that is yet to be locked up, as the other three look pretty safely in hand. Finally, the guys debut a new segment. They don't have a name for it, however. The new segment is a game where Alex reads a player's career teams he played for and Chace needs to guess what NHL player that is. However, if Chace is stuck, he can use hints as well. Can you beat Chace? Find out, with the MnM Hockey Podcast.

  • Ilya Lyubushkin Trade, Coyotes Future, and Nathan MacKinnon
Alex and Chace are back with plenty more to discuss. This week, their main piece of news is the Ilya Lyubushkin Trade. Alex starts off by joking that only in Toronto can a sixth defenceman cause this much discussion, but there are lots of items to talk about. Including what the guys thought of the trade, what does it mean going forward, and can you praise or blame Dubas for the Nick Ritchie contract and its removal?
After, they take a look at the Coyotes' side of things. Once again going over the insane amount of draft picks they have picked up. Alex starts to wonder who is even going to be left with other rumours about the team trading players. However, the guys take a look at future options for the team. From there, they ask the question of how did Nathan MacKinnon avoid suspension? A slash to a referee almost always guarantees something. Finally, they play a game of where are they now? Can you beat Chace's score?
