Model Car Podcast

Justin and John debate the process of building a model from start to finish. As always, we disagree and whoever didn't write the show notes (John) is a barbarian! We also talk about what we've been working on, buying , and drool over some of the latest kit news in the hobby.

John's off sick this episode, so the industrious Chris Martin joins Justin to talk model cars. Chris comes prepared with a lot to talk about - he does a lot of homework.

One of the hosts is building. The other isn’t. And it may not be who you think. We look at the latest kit news in the hobby and announce a new community build. Come and join us.

We get crickets from a host, while the other one has been buying all of the kits. Lots of new models coming out. And finally we try to figure out an airbrush cleaning schedule. Is once in 20 years enough? Find out!

Justin utters the F Word. Yes, he actually finished something. And John has lots to talk about. We take a long and meandering visit through the latest developments in the hobby. How much will this week cost us?

John and Justin catch up and talk about the latest developments in the hobby. We also discuss the hobby magazine industry, which is showing some publishers pulling away and others coming back strong.

As usual, we look at what we’ve been up to and what new models have been announced. Then, in a strange turn of events, John has a rant and Justin finishes something. What’s the world coming to?

Not too much happening in the hobby this week, but John still finds kits for Justin to spend his money on. We reflect on the interesting 2021 year and what are our hopes and expectations are for the upcoming year.

John is baking Christmas Cookies instead of building models, and Justin is having more problematic customer service. Is it just him, or does our hobby have some bad actors? We discuss.

An extended episode. Lots of new releases and lots of suggestions for Christmas gifts for yourself or for a modeler in your life. Or you can just send them to us! :)
