This is not the autumn and winter months of 200 years ago. Historically this was a time of rest and preparation for the demands of spring.

Its cold, wet and dark and instead of sitting inside, snuggling up with a warm drink in front of a fire with a book, we’re draining ourselves to keep up with the social pressures and demands of this time of year.
