Candace’s Bio
Candace Veach is board-certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Certified as a Yoga Instructor, and in Thai Yoga Therapy. Candace graduated with honors from Emperor’s College in 2000.
Candace graduated from Emperor's College in Santa Monica and is an acupuncturist in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Her clinical training occurred at the UCLA Health Center, Daniel Freedman Hospital, and the Emperor's College Clinic. While at Emperor's Clinic, she was fortunate to intern under Dr. Tianda Yang, a highly respected Doctor of Chinese Medicine, both here and in China.
Alongside studying acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and Western medicine, Candace worked on cultivating her "Shen." Shen is described in Chinese literature as "spirit-intelligence," cultivating this quality in oneself was classically a foundational part of a doctor's training.
In addition to regular coursework, she practiced breathwork, hatha yoga, and intensive meditation. She also began training in subtle, energetic healing.
Candace has traveled to Thailand, India, and the Himalayas. She sat with teachers and gurus of various spiritual disciplines and received many blessings on her way. She remains determined to know her own Shen in order to be a Superior doctor.
She is known for being both highly intuitive and very logical. She regularly gets results in complex cases within a week using custom herbal formulas and acupuncture.
