I started this phrase with my children as a means to bond. To share experiences, have heart to hearts, and to make them more comfortable expressing their emotions. It has since evolved into so much more. Tune in to see what has come of the HEARTCHECK. 

Far too often, we see one person sacrificing and giving their all to be what everyone needs. What happens when that person needs someone to be that for them? Are you the one that cares for the one that cares for everyone? 

There is a big difference between helping and doing. Learning the difference and allowing others to do what was assigned to them requires growth and awareness. In this episode, we dive in to how helping looks versus doing.

In moments of frustration, anger, and feelings of disrespect; we don't always want to talk the high road. It's hard as a man to be the bigger person in those instances. Yet, we have to figure out what's more important, are we reacting out of emotion or logic. 

So many times we want to play the role of God and don't know how. We want to tell God what to do, when to do, how to do, and we don't even know the best thing for us. Get out of God's business and mind yours.

A no can be very damaging to our mental clarity and focus. If we learned to see the no differently then we can value the YES that much more. All it takes is 1 yes to change your life. All it takes is 1 yes. 

With all of our shortcomings and limitations, how we view ourselves can also be a determinant to how we view God too. Don't limit God because you limit yourself.
