Today: I got the chance to shoot the M&P and Sig with
different slide mounted dot sites on each side by side to do a comparison. I still want a pistol with a dot, just not
sure which direction I should go.
I really like the Sig and the M&P. I’ve been carrying the M&P9 for about 5
years now and really like it. Smith is
trying to update the platform but not doing it fast enough to keep up with the
market at this point. They should be out
with all the Red dots on top of them, but they are not yet. I think it’s a marketing ploy that they are
waiting to introduce the M&P 2.0 with slide mounted dot.
The only thing keeping me from switching to the Sig 320 is
money. It’s an incredible amount of
money to switch platforms, holsters, magazines, training time, back up gun, and
the like make the endeavor way more than just buying a pistol and
switching.
