To kick start this year, Paola Davis shares her testimony on her teenage years and how being in the public eye had an impact on her confidence and her self image. As women of God, or even men, we understand that how people view us and their opinions on us can have an adverse effect on the way in which we view ourselves. Yet, God reminds us that we need to see ourselves in the way that He sees us. That is the best way forward. Tune in to hear our discussion on body image and the advice that Paola gives to rebuild that confidence in order to walk as God intends us to.

Season 3, Episode 7: Strongholds ⁣

In this week’s episode, Vanessa shares her testimony on how she was groomed as a teenager and the strongholds that arose because of that. We discuss what the church needs to do to help young girls from being in that situation and the importance of speaking out. This is a very explicit episode that may cause distress so please listen with caution. Although she went through this horrible experience, she was able to gain victory over those strongholds and stands strong today to tell her story. ⁣

In this episode Kevin Green takes us through his childhood experiences and how that shaped him into the man that he is today. Through it all, God reminded him of who God was and is. Sometimes we underestimate or forget the power of our heavenly Father. He sees our pain and he is loving and faithful enough to take us out of it. It may not make sense at the time, but your pain is your story. Sometimes we believe that God doesn't see the suffering in which we go through, but that is where we are wrong. As God was able to hear the cries of those in Egypt and managed to part the red sea to take them out of it, what battles are you facing that you believe is too hard for God?

We dive into what it means to be a lukewarm Christian and how we are able to die to ourselves when our flesh is alive. Many times we think if we do the bare minimum as Christians then it is enough, but Jose shows us that we cannot serve two masters. We cannot keep one foot in the world and another in Christ. 

Anchor Scripture: 1 John 2:15-16 'Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world - the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions - is not from the Father but is from the world.

Serg Lismanis shares his story about how his experience with drugs changed his life drastically. He found himself in a lot of trouble, but he never stopped searching for ways out. He allows us to see that sometimes it takes that one person to introduce you to the light for you to be saved. ⁣⁣

⁣It is easy to hide your addictions, your habits, your actions when you are in darkness. That is why many people are afraid to experience the light because that is when their secrets are exposed. However, nothing good is ever hidden. The more you experience the light, the more you realise that there’s true power on this side. ⁣

⁣⁣⁣John 3:19 - This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

Today's Guest: Angela Gadiare talks us through her miraculous testimony on how God gave her, her speech back. She lost a lot, but God restored her. It's in our weakest moments the we are the strongest. God has the power to restore and preserve you. Wait on the Lord and build your faith in this season. 

Anchor Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, 'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.'

Our first episode is from an incredible man named Peter Lublink. He is the Executive Director for Bethany𝘒𝘪𝘥𝘴 - a faith-based Christian Charity who aims to transform the lives of African children with surgical conditions and disabilities. 

Hearing Mr Lublinks testimony allowed me to see the character and personality behind this organisation. It is truly led by God and the staff/volunteers are a true reflection of the sacrificial love that we experience in Christ.
