In this episode, we chat it up at the beginning before jumping into our Super Bowl preview where we give our general thoughts on the game, pick a winner and evaluate who has the edge at each position group (17:11). We hit on a few newsworthy topics like the MLB lockout making zero progress (34:59), multiple NFL head coaching spots being filled (42:04) and the Washington Football Team's new name (55:36). In Who's Hot and Who's Not we debate whether a particular movie is great or awful (59:10) and we get real for a minute in Shoutout of the Week (66:14).

In this episode, we dove into the AFC and NFC championship games, where the Chiefs and 49ers both blew leads (8:48). We recorded Monday night, so we talked about the Tom Brady retirement news from over the weekend before knowing how it would eventually unfold on Tuesday (39:35). We then discussed David Ortiz being elected to the Hall of Fame, while Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling were not (42:40). Fully juiced after the Chiefs vs. Bills game wrapped up, we hopped on the ole Zoom call to get our takes out there. The NFL Playoffs kicked off on an ... okay note. We get into every game from Super Wild Card Weekend, including the Patriots getting crushed by the Bills (10:43). After a great week of sports, we had a lot to discuss. First, we got to talk with local coaching legend Mike Abundo about his path to becoming a coach, the responsibility that comes with coaching, watching Stephen Strasburg's debut and much more (8:33). Boy oh boy, NFL Week 16 was brutal for all three of us. Before we dive into the week of football, we jump into Who's Hot and Who's Not, where socks and Spider-Man get praise and Lifetime and Chris' hands come under fire (15:26).
