Moh.AlieEN

In our very first episode of Muh.Alien , we’re diving into one of the most important topics for students crossing borders to pursue their education: immigration. If you’re an international student or thinking about becoming one this episode is for you!

I sit down with Xu Xi, an international student recruiter at Algonquin College, to unpack everything you need to know about study permits, managing money as a student abroad, and what it really takes to thrive in a new country. We talk about:

• How to navigate the study permit application process.
• Essential financial tips for international students (hint: there’s more to saving money than just budgeting!)
• The most common challenges students face when settling in a new country.
• Xu Xi's personal experiences and the best advice she has for students.
