Russian Grammar note 🤓👇📝

In Russian there is no distinction between possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives. This is a reason why you may see them also referred to as possessive modifiers.

Just like English, Russian has a set of possessive modifiers.

Possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives are used in Russian to express possession or ownership.

The Russian words for “my” in the Nominative case are 🤓👇

«мой», «моя́», «моё», «мои́».

The word «мой» is used with masculine nouns in a singular form.

The word «моя́» is used with feminine nouns in a singular form.

The word «моё» is used with neuter nouns in a singular form.

The plural variant is «мои́».
