You don't have to be a huge Swiftie to know the impact on culture - and content - that Taylor Swift has had the last nearly 20 years. Jennifer shares her 'connection' to Swift and uses her as inspiration and lessons for us as 'fearless' marketers.

Jennifer uses the example of Taylor Swift's experience with online criticism and fan speculation to illustrate the challenges of putting oneself and one's content out there. She encourages the group to "shake it off" and not let negative comments or perceptions deter them, as people's reactions are often more a reflection of their own biases and experiences than the content itself.

Also, that our audiences do not come to our content as 'Blank Spaces' - people will always bring THEIR biases, past experiences, hopes, assumptions, misconceptions to our content. We don't have control over that. We also can't expect a single piece of content to change assumptions or views. We have to keep showing up as ourselves, true to what is right and true for us, to attract our right-fit audience.
