*Round 19 Preview of the NRL 2023 Season

More Byes, a short round and NSW seeking redemption for Game 3  

There are 7 teams with the BYE for Round 19 which means we have 5 games ahead for a short round that fans and spectators can look forward to… and with Round 18 of the NRL season behind us, most of us are looking at all the movement on the ladder, keeping an eye on injuries, and keeping our fingers crossed that our team don’t have too many injuries as we near the finals. 

We talk a little bit about the Game 3 State of Origin team lists that were posted earlier this week with our own musings before the match next week – Also we share our observations of the best and worst performances from the past round. 

And of course, we will share with you our tips and previews for the coming round.

*Round 18 Preview of the 2023 NRL Season

Cowboys on a stampede & not slowing our brains

We have 8 games for Round 18, a normal set of games for us fans and with Round 17 of the NRL season behind us, what a round it was!  We discuss on the show some of the best and worst performances from the past round, and with so many injuries creeping into club teams, players on report, suspensions and players coming face to face with the NRL judiciary, it will be an interesting few weeks ahead especially as clubs hope to earn more wins with 9 more rounds until Finals. 

The Parramatta Eels have the BYE for Round 18 earning a well-deserved rest after some big wins. 

And while there is a bit of movement on the ladder, there have been some recent upsets to leading teams that were looking to overcome opponents as they climb the ladder, with the biggest surprise from the Gold Coast Titans defeating the Brisbane Broncos at Lang Park.

The panel discusses Ben Hunt and Reece Walsh, and of course we will share with you our tips and previews for the coming round.

*Round 17 Preview of the 2023 NRL Season

Postmortem of Game 2 - State of Origin 

There is a lot to talk about this episode, so we are going to get right into it.

We have 8 games for Round 17, a normal length and with Round 16 of the NRL season and State of Origin behind us, we are doing a quick Game 2 Origin round up of the Queensland Maroons’ win over the NSW Blues as well as sharing our tips and previews for the coming round. 

There are 3 teams with the BYE for Round 17, and those teams are: Canterbury Bulldogs, Cronulla Sharks and West Tigers. 
It's that time when the wins over the next few weeks are crucial for a lot of teams hoping to make finals. 
Will the returning Origin players back up and get a win for their teams? Could the Knights upset the Panthers and finally get their 400th win for the club? Can the Canberra Raiders upset the Sydney Roosters at their own home?
