Tom's Celtics are 0-2 and he's in a world of hurt, while the Lakers are down 0-3 to the best 7 foot tall Point Guard of all time. We talk about some coaching changes, how the Heat are so good with one star, and a very silly segment (even for us!) at the end of the show.

*Team Predictions for NSW and QLD Origin teams ahead for Game 1 on 31 May
This is a bonus episode outside of our usual weekly show. The panel took some time a few weeks back to discuss which players they would like to see make up the State of Origin NSW and QLD teams for Game 1 on the 31st of May.
Since the State of Origin competition began in June 1980, there have been 38 series, with QLD winning 22 of them, NSW winning 16, and 2 draws. In terms of historical match wins, Queensland has won 63, NSW have won 54 and 2 matches resulted in a draw.
Origin selectors have been closely analysing player performances over the past 11 rounds, as we anticipate the final team list release for Game 1 of Origin.
We are only 10 days from Origin and incumbents will be hoping to keep their spot, while others with consistent and outstanding performances will be hoping to don the jersey for their state.
Until the official lists are posted this is our discussion on players that could be great selections. Let me reinforce, we are not professional selectors and we are interested and invested spectators that follow the NRL weekly and love Origin.
*By the time this episode is released, there may be some significant changes to the availability of players, due to injuries, suspensions and fitness following the remaining matches. Therefore, please note this episode may mention some players that may no longer be an option.
Hope you enjoy the episode!

*Round 12 Preview of the NRL 2023 Season
Auditioning for Origin Selection
Round 11 of the NRL season is behind us, and a few dormant or returning players have been making some big statements hoping that they get noticed for Origin selection. Glad the selectors have that job, and not us, as performances this past round have made their decision a little bit difficult.
Heavy weight teams, we thought, from the start would shine this season are plagued with injuries or being outmatched by hungrier teams, which has only added spice to the competition, and a lot of movement in the ladder.
The New Zealand Warriors have a well-earned BYE this round and will be taking a break before they face off against the Brisbane Broncos on their return.
We will be touching on the best and worst performances of Round 11, a little bit about some major changes for the St George Illawarra Dragons, and share with you our previews for Indigenous Round 12 of the NRL.
We hope you enjoy the show.

*Round 11 preview of the 2023 NRL Season
A few teams are hoping for some leftover magic for Round 11
Following on from Magic Round, it was certainly magic for Queensland teams as all four teams won their matches. Some of the victories were momentous and others were gritty, showing a lot of resilience and toughness to collect their 2 points. The ladder is looking a bit different coming into Round 11 and we are back to normal scheduling with matches on Thursday right through to Sunday.
Among those great performances, the South Sydney Rabbitohs continue to show dominance and intentions to be a grand final contender. Also, the Dolphins showed that they are the real deal, and had a huge victory over the Cronulla Sharks, and so can enjoy deserved rest after that performance going into the BYE for Round 11.
We are previewing the matches for Round 11 and looking back at some of the best and worst performances of Magic round. We also take a moment to talk about referees at the end of our previews.
We hope you enjoy the show!
