We all pray expecting an immediate and specific answer from God. Hoping He'll give us the instructions we need right when we need it, but sometimes God isn't always easy to discern. It can be confusing discerning God's voice apart from other voices. Well, during my pregnancy I had a little epiphany that made sense to me. Maybe these examples will help clear up some confusion for the next time we need prayer answered. And that is not my stomach in the photo in case you were curious.

Covid stopped us all in our tracks. How do the teens really feel about the restrictions and their social life being affected? I am hosting a workshop starting January 26th to help teenage girls cope with coded. In this podcast I describe what prompted me to do this class and what its about.

This episode is dedicated to all the empty nesters. For the mothers who have raised their children and are in the next phase of life, but feeling purposeless. God is not done with you yet! Don't let the culture fool you into thinking you have no place or that your advice is obsolete. You can still make a difference in this generation, in your community, and your family. Though I use an unlikely analogy I hope you can hear how significant you still are to the world around you.

God has given each of us a piece of Himself. Made in His likeness and image, but not all of us are using His likeness in the world around us. Not only aren't we using it, we place little value on what He has given us. Be it singing, writing, organizing, inventing, dancing, etc we must discover ways in which we use what God has given us and not just look to pay the bills. 

How does God want to use you to bring light, life, and love? 

Are you using your God-given gifts, talents, and abilities to the full and being an expression of God's kingdom on the earth? It might be as a hobby, volunteerism, or even as your job, but how you expressing them?

What keeps you from using what God has given you? 

Do you think God wants to remove those obstacles? If so, what do you think He would say to you about them?
