As a business coach for mom coaches I seem to attract a lot of multi-passionate mamas. Which makes sense. Being an entrepreneur takes a lot of fire in your belly to be success. Having a successful coaching biz, just like any business, is a marathon. You will reach your income level goal IF you don't give up. Not only is it about tenacity it's also about coaching yourself back to the mindset needed when you feel yourself wanting to throw in the towel.

So what do you use to stay in the race? Your coaching tools of course. And the thing is, you use the same strategy to help your clients reach their destination too. Coaching tools are not what make up your coaching niche. Your coaching niche is the main struggle you solve in your coaching biz. Your coaching tools are what will help them get to this destination. Let's dive in.

I typically only work 20 hours a week as a coach. But lately those work hours have been inconspicuously creeping up. And it took a doctor's appointment to shine a light on that fact and remind me that a successful mom coaching biz can be run on only 20 hours a week. And probably more efficiently than if you had 40 hours a week in your home office.

I wasn't quite at 40 hours a week but I was starting to creep up there. And to be honest it wasn't like it was solid work hours. More like sitting there 'at work' but not really being super productive. I've been at my desk lately from six in the morning to almost four in the afternoon. With breaks to walk, ski and and eat poutine of course like a good Canadian. But it was starting to wreak havoc on my nervous system and psyche.

You want to coach moms but the building a website for your coaching biz is holding you back from taking action. Don't let the fact you don't have a slick website yet, or even a website at all, hold you back from getting out there and finding your next coaching client. You can find clients leaning on a simple online marketing plan without a website. You just have to get a little creative. But most importantly you have to get out there and serve.

I"m not saying never ever have a website - there is just no reason to wait until you have one to get out there and share your gifts with the world. This way too you'll be clear on who you serve before you invest on a website that can plug you up both financially and energetically.

As a coach yourself you know that investing in a business coach is just that. It's an investment in your business. And as a coach, either for life or biz, you can wrap your mind around what it is to invest in a coach as a mom. It's an investment in not only your future but your children's future as well. Everything that you're getting coached on in your business will affect how you show up in your mothering. Just like how your own clients will have all areas of their lives affected from their investment in you. No matter what niche you decide to embrace in your coaching biz.

There are so many ripple effects that coaching can have on our lives. Today I want to share how I see my own clients making their investment back when deciding to coach with me and offer this as an opportunity for considering how much you can believe too in how magically, and quickly, your own clients can make their investment back with you too.

Many begin life coaching moms as a side hustle. In fact, so side hustle it's practically not a hustle any more. More like a side dawdle. There comes a point where you have to make the conscious decision. Are you in this for the hobby or are you in this for the jobby?

Meaning, do you want to make a real go at this as a profession. Create a career, and an income, that will surpass your wildest expectations. Because the truth is the sky's the limit with how much we can earn with our coaching biz. The only thing that's holding us back is ourselves.

How to tell if your treating your coaching biz as a hobby? It's by looking at your profit/loss sheet. If you're spending more than your earning it's time to look at these four areas of your business, and your mindset where you can level up so that you're reaching your income goals before you decide to turn this side dawdle to a side stop completely. With these four P's!

There are many different stances on whether to start broad in your coaching business and then niche down. Or start with a niche and then course correct as you go. I'm team niche in case you haven't figured out yet. All my freebies and trainings typically begin with 'start with your niche statement'.

But let's clarify what this actually means. Because I don't want you thinking that you shouldn't me moving forward with getting out there and helping your ideal clients until you have a solid niche. That'd be silly.

What I'm talking is to embrace a niche statement from the very get go as a mean to build confidence, hold your ideal client close to your heart and explore all the different ways you can offer concrete support to the moms who would love to work with you.

Guilty pleasure alert! Yes, another one. I love watching the Bachelor. And when I'm not watching the Bachelor I love listening to podcasts about the Bachelor. There is the one podcast in particular that brought into light for me some ways that getting the lead's eye is a little bit like selling your coaching services.

This podcast brings in a couple of concepts I'm by no means an expert in: numbers and sports. But it marries these concepts quite impressively with the overall romantic notion of this show which is purportedly about finding true love. This got me thinking.

There is some number work at play at this noble job of coaching moms to different goals and dreams. Let's explore how this can be true for seeking out your true love clients while also seeing how we can consciously keep track of what's working and what's not so we just get better and better at this game of building our coaching business while loving up our dream clients.

What do you think of when you hear organic marketing? Farmers market come to my mind. And then a farmer. Tending to a field of new coaching clients. Homegrown with no added chemicals.
