•  I don't care how great you think someone is, nobody puts baby in the corner!

  Dating story #1 - How one NYC taxi ride led me to an "eternity ring" and...a huge insult! How did I respond? QUICKLY!!! Listen up to find out?!?   Dating story #2 - How a cool, Facebook working stud led a few women to enjoy my leftovers. And why I decided to nix the facebook group page pile on.   Why do we say "have the balls, grow some balls, yada, yada...." Aren't we women? We need to come up with something ladies! Like, what about grow a vagina?! Thank you Betty White...   Dating story #3 - I met him on the app Tinder and still, til this day, the best date and day of my life! The Plaza Food Hall, my favorite present and a romantic carriage ride around NYC....which led to a night at Nobu 57. Was this princess in love? Turns out NO she wasn't but really did appreciate all the attention and money spent.

The holiday cheer is a festive time with family and friends. It’s special and memorable spending time with those you love, for better or worse! But…. it’s not always simple and can be tough to navigate. Like being asked difficult life questions from opinionated relatives and family friends.   Sometimes it’s complicated deciding who to spend your time with, for how long, spending money and time away on flights to get there. Putting up with difficult personalities, or choosing not to put up with it and spending time elsewhere. What’s are the repercussions of that? The combination of old people and young people, different perspectives and who knows best? Who’s actually answering question’s honestly and openly? Being asked difficult life questions such as how’s your girlfriend? What college is your son going to? Are they going to college? How is the marriage going? The family input and emotional investment can be quite complicated!  Why are you not at our holiday gathering? Is your child still in school? Still married? Or did he drop out to go sell weed in California? Did you get divorced?   All the shame, honesty and bs that comes with the holidays and my advice to you. Tune in!   Have a question?

Negotiating a leased car in a South Florida car dealership in a room full of egoistical men felt more difficult than birthing my son, at times.    I called on a male friendship for emotional support that ultimately wasn’t all that helpful anyway because all I really needed was me.   I did it! I pulled off some positive self talk, patience and grit to find my voice and use my female powers to express myself, using my intuition. How birthing a Volvo led me to have even more courage and channel my energy for more difficult experiences…

Today, our guest is Tori Mallow. She is a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist. She has an extensive science background, has taught, and has a Master's of Science from Columbia University. My decision to date a recovering drug addict, and finding strength and discipline in his story.   True love of friendships and romance can really make a difference in people's lives. My partner has taught my son so many things and how to enjoyi his company.
