  • 49. Domini Anne | Breath, Balance, and Body: Finding Your Flow in Motherhood

What happens when a ballerina-turned-movement coach brings her whole heart into motherhood? In this episode, Angela Tait sits down with Domini Anne to talk about pregnancy, childbirth, and the wild ride of balancing identity, resilience, and mom life. From delivering her own baby in a bathtub to creating a breathwork method that transformed her body and mind, Domini shares raw stories, laughs, and wisdom that will make you see motherhood—and yourself—in a whole new way.

"Not everything is solved by changing your perspective, but when you shift that environment, you're often better able to deal with even more intense problems." - Domini Anne

Highlights working moms will relate to:

    • Motherhood doesn't erase your identity — Domini reminds us that being a mom doesn't mean losing yourself; your career, artistry, and passions still matter.
    • Movement is more than exercise — it's a tool to connect mind and body, manage stress, and strengthen resilience in daily life.
    • Pregnancy is the ultimate training ground — it teaches us how to surrender control, adapt, and grow stronger in ways that prepare us for parenting.
    • Breathwork changes everything — learning to breathe with awareness can shift pain, calm the nervous system, and bring more ease to both childbirth and motherhood.
    • It's okay to admit it's hard — Domini breaks the myth that moms must "have it all together," sharing the messy truth with humor and honesty.
    • You'll become a better version of yourself — despite the chaos, motherhood sharpens your priorities, builds efficiency, and deepens your capacity for joy.

    About Domini Anne:

Domini Anne is a movement educator, author, and mother of two whose work blends anatomy, breath, and embodied awareness. Trained across disciplines including the Gyrotonic® method, Gyrokinesis®, ELDOA, Aerial Yoga, and advanced anatomy, she offers a uniquely integrative approach to movement and well-being.

  • 48. Lizzie Langston | Through the Postpartum Portal: Death, Rebirth, and the Mother You're Becoming

Motherhood is often painted as a picture of joy and perfection, but behind the scenes, many women quietly navigate the raw, messy, and transformative realities of postpartum life. In this episode, trauma-informed postpartum coach Lizzie Langston opens up about the "postpartum portal"—a powerful passage of identity death and rebirth that reshapes who we are as mothers and women. Together, we explore the hidden struggles of postpartum depression, the nervous system's role in healing, and the sacred art of coming undone—reminding every mom that in the midst of grief, change, and chaos lies the possibility of deep self-acceptance, renewal, and strength.

"One of the biggest shifts that really help women feel better is when they stop trying to feel better and they start loving themselves in the ick- the mess, all the ups and downs." - Lizzie

Highlights working moms will relate to:

    • The hidden postpartum journey – Behind the "bounce back" culture lies the unspoken struggles of depression, anxiety, exhaustion, and identity shifts that many moms face long after maternity leave ends.
    • Why it still matters—even years later – Unhealed postpartum experiences can resurface years down the line, affecting confidence, resilience, and even how we show up at work and at home.
    • Motherhood as a portal – Each child brings a new transformation. Your second, third, or fourth baby won't feel the same as the first—and that's okay.
    • Balancing identity and career – From corporate pressures to household demands, moms often feel torn between roles. This episode explores how to honor both your ambitions and your well-being.
    • Grieving the "old me" – Letting go of who you were before kids is part of the process. You don't have to chase your pre-baby version—you're evolving into someone new.
    • Community over isolation – Partners may try, but only other women can fully understand this shift. Leaning on community is not a weakness—it's a lifeline.
    • Your mental health = your family's health – Research shows the best thing for kids is a mom who's mentally well. Filling your own cup isn't selfish—it's essential.
    • The sacred art of coming undone – Lizzie Langston reframes postpartum not as a breakdown but as a rebirth, an invitation to embrace the messy, powerful, and beautiful parts of womanhood.

    About Lizzie Langston:

Lizzie Langston is a soul doula who sits with women in the void between who they were and who they're becoming. Through The Sacred Art of Coming Undone, she creates sacred space for the unraveling—that messy, holy process where old identities dissolve and something truer starts breathing beneath the surface. Her work isn't teaching or fixing—it's holding shamanic presence while women remember what they already know in their bones. Lizzie creates a field where women can finally feel into the parts of themselves they've been too afraid to acknowledge have already gone. She guides women to stop living in denial of their own endings and start honoring what their deeper self has already released, leading them to the soul-aligned version of themselves waiting to emerge. • 47. Dr. Kristina Suntay | Precision & Prevention: A New Era for Women's Wellness

What if the key to thriving as a mom isn't "doing more," but understanding your body better? From hormones and stress to functional medicine and genomic testing, Dr. Kristina Suntay shares how moms can take control of their health and finally feel like themselves again. From facing fertility and postpartum anxiety to tackling the constant tug-of-war of working motherhood, this conversation is a reminder that moms don't have to suffer in silence—your health, your joy, and your career can thrive together.

"The key takeaway is that women don't have to suffer in silence—if something feels off or you don't feel like yourself, there are treatments that can help and even reverse many of those issues" - Dr. Kristina

What this episode offers for moms balancing it all:

    • Redefining Balance – Motherhood and career don't have to be at odds; it's about finding harmony, not perfection.
    • Your Body Knows Best – Trust your intuition. If something feels off (burnout, brain fog, anxiety), don't ignore it—there are answers and solutions.
    • Beyond Survival Mode – Stress, hormones, and even hidden inflammation can deeply affect energy, focus, and mood. Moms don't have to "just deal with it."
    • Guilt is Real, but You're Not Alone – The tug-of-war between career, kids, and self-care is universal. Talking about it takes away the shame.
    • From Burnout to Breakthrough – Sometimes the hardest moments (postpartum struggles, career exhaustion) open doors to new ways of thriving.
    • Health is Personal – Every mom's body is unique. Precision wellness tools can uncover what your body really needs to function at its best.
    • Wellness is Not a Luxury – Nourishing your body, managing stress, and prioritizing rest isn't selfish—it's the foundation for being the mom and professional you want to be.
    • Modeling for Our Kids – When moms take care of themselves, we teach our children resilience, balance, and self-worth.

This episode is packed with raw truths, practical wisdom, and empowering lessons to help you lead with courage, set boundaries without guilt, and trust the process. You deserve this time for YOU—tune in and get inspired to own your journey.

"I want someone who's going to challenge me. That's what HR does. We really challenge people to think beyond their realm of what they're capable of, and it's uncomfortable." - Melissa

Key points that speak to the working moms:

    • Motherhood evolves with every stage—raising a 25-year-old brings bigger, more complex challenges than toddler years.

    • Balancing roles is real—juggling career leadership, parenting, and personal growth isn't easy, but it's possible.

    • It's okay not to have it all figured out—parenting adult children is full of unknowns, and that's normal.

    • Boundaries matter—saying "no" at work can protect your energy and prevent burnout.

    • Mentorship starts at home and at work—guiding your kids and empowering your team both require honesty and authenticity.

    • Leadership isn't about perfection—it's about trust, communication, and owning your voice as a woman in male-dominated spaces.

    • Networking is everything—when reentering the workforce, relationships matter more than ever.

    • Invest in yourself without guilt—upskilling, reading, and creating space for passion projects like writing can reignite purpose.

    • You don't have to do it alone—finding a supportive community of moms and professionals makes all the difference.

    • Trust the process and let go of control—life rarely goes as planned, and leaning into faith and timing can bring peace.

For the Mom Who's Doing It All—This One's for You:

    • You're not alone in juggling chaos. From global meetings at 5AM to school drop-offs and summer madness, Jillian gets it—and she found a better way.
    • Permission to slow down. You don't need to compare the "mom version" of you to who you were pre-kids. It's okay to evolve and move at your own pace.
    • Your energy is sacred. Learn how to notice who (or what) is draining you—and start choosing you without guilt.
    • Boundaries are not selfish—they're strategic. Whether it's blocking your calendar or silencing your phone, setting clear expectations is key to peace and productivity.
    • Start your day with connection. Jillian shares how a simple morning walk with her husband changed the tone of their entire relationship and household.
    • Reimagine what work looks like. Hear how she transitioned from corporate to launching her own businesses—with more presence, purpose, and flexibility.
    • You are more than your role. Whether you're leading a team or leading bedtime routines, both matter. You don't have to choose between success and motherhood.
    • Real talk on managing guilt. Those "Mom has to take a call" moments? Jillian opens up about shifting the narrative from sacrifice to alignment.
    • You have permission to say not yet. Discover the small, powerful ways you can start setting boundaries—even if you're not ready for a hard "no."
    • Turn your mess into your message. From freezer hacks for breastmilk to building a six-figure brand, Jillian's story shows how motherhood can spark innovation.
