    Send us a text

THIS EPISODE IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE LOST EXECUTIVE.

WARNING! We discuss some pretty heavy topics: including child endangerment, grooming, and consent when it comes to children and the internet. While I believe this is topic is paramount in keeping children safe, I want you to know what you are heading into.

If you’ve ever thought about what you can be doing better to keep children safe online; this episode may help!

Momo gets to stand up and chat with Heather Cox who has so many wonderful accolades but the one we try and focus on here is The Connected Kid Book. Heather spent over a year writing and working on this book to help parents navigate the difficulty’s of parental controls on the ever growing list of devices we have in our home!

She shares her own experiences, some wonderful tips for online safety, and some really cool vibes! She’s so funny, so sweet, and her blended family really provides us some insight into what life can look like in the future. Heather has been working in Social Media Marketing, Podcasting, and Entrepreneurship for almost 15 years. She has so much to be proud of & I am so grateful I got to chat with her.

The episode ends with a lovely shout out to every person in my life. So please check that out, because it should make you feel warm in your heart.

He shares with us how he started TLE, mistakes he made while traveling, and some fun advice for anyone looking to get out and explore!

We learn so much and share a bit about what life looks like from our little nomadic family. ASL, Travel, and Kids are the key topics from today’s episode, you know… like the point of the podcast.

    Send us a text

THIS EPISODE IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE LOST EXECUTIVE.

Warning! We talk about some DEEP things. We speak about sobriety and I know for a lot of people that can be quite triggering. I hope you’re able to listen but understand if you can not for that simple fact. I love you & your sobriety is more important than listens.

Momo had the pleasure of learning all about Craig Loss. Who decided to start Wild Child Outfitters when he realized he wanted to teach his girls about choosing
Wild over WiFi and help share that concept with the world. He talks about starting his business, life as a parent, and we share tons of deep feelings.

We share some wonderful ways to explore with your littles. How you don’t need to make it an all or nothing experience. Adventure is more about getting out of your comfort zone and seeing what’s out there! We speak about how we use the internet, what things we have to keep and eye out for, and what you just have to do to get through the day as a parent sometimes.

  • 26: Momo & Appa Take On Tennessee! We See a Solar Eclipse, Two Different Kinds of Cicadas, and a Bunch of Dogs!

    Send us a text

Warning! This episode is funny but it's certainly not as full of child lead activities as you may have expected!

Our first trip to Tennessee was to Knoxville for only like 1 day when poppy was about 4 months old! Then came Nashville when she was closer to 10 months. We hadn't started the podcast, we hadn't planned on traveling to the extent we do now. So there isn't A TON of places, but there's some laughs- and i think that makes up for it.

I hope you guys laugh as much as Momo does in this episode; because it's honestly.... too much.

    Send us a text

WARNING! You’re going to do a little nerd learning in this episode!!! But don’t worry, you’ll have fun.

On this weeks episode… Effy sits down with Pet Mom, Metal Musician, and Traveler Megg Jacobs! (Click her name to find all things her) She’s not a human parent, but she’s an AUNTIE and often travels to see those kids. I loved that

I got to learn ways to support my childless siblings and friends. Tips for keeping your kids or pets warm in uncertain weather. Ways to share moments as gifts instead of ALL the crap all of us parents are tired of looking at.

We learn a bit about Maine, North Carolina, and Switzerland!!! I hope you have a ton of fun with us on this adventures.

  • 24: Momo Chat’s with Eloise Hudson of The High Achieving Housewife & Her Husband Adam.

    Send us a text

WARNING! IF THE STICK MOVES, DON’T TOUCH IT!

Momo had the pleasure of learning this little tidbit from Adam Hudson, who is married to The High-Achieving Housewife, Eloise! Her podcast, with the same name is one I’ve spoken about before on MOMadic Adventures… it highlights women who aspire to be more than a housewife/parent. Which as you know… I am!
(You can also click HERE and listen to ME on an episode of HAH)

While Eloise and Adam don’t travel as much as our family… they’re my ~future~ travel goals for sure! Every summer the Hudson family gets in an RV and travels with the plan to GET OUT OF THE HEAT of Texas! They share how they decide on a camp spot… because SEPTIC is apparently quite important when you’re in an RV. We talk about how they RV life chose them, and how their GRUMBLE was key in making that decision. We all learn a little bit, and a have a couple of laughs along the way.

Be sure to head to social media to see images from the experiences they’ve had!

Heads Up! This was one of my first interviews, it was done with one microphone and so SOME of the audio isn’t great. I worked REALLLLLLLY hard to get this interview ready for the world because I loved this hang.

I hope you guys love it too. Momo heads to Todd Stoner and Katrina Aganon’s house to chat about travel, chaos, and loving each other!

  • 22: Momo Talks with Found Family’s MaryB. Safrit about Religion and Travel

    Send us a text

If you know me (momo), you know that I am far removed from organized religion in so many ways that I wasn’t totally sure MaryB. and I would have anything to chat about BUT I knew this conversation was important to have. SO WE DID! It was uncomfortable, hilarious, and eye opening at so many points! She has done some traveling and so that was the first point of conversation, but very quickly it turned into me learning about her experience with her faith, her congregation, and navigating life as a queer person.

Our experiences with religion and life had been so different. I felt as thought I was speaking with a person so drastically different than I, that I just wasn’t sure what was going to happen. Although we don’t believe the same things; it turns out we’re looking for the same thing in the end. Community. Love. Acceptance.

For those who don’t know MaryB. Safrit is a New York City-based writer, relationship coach, and host of the Found Family Podcast. She writes and talks about community, faith, queerness, and relationships. She is so open, honest, and beautifully spoken. I hope this episode encourages someone to see someone experiencing life so differently than you & still inspire you to make a connection.

You can find MaryB. on Instagram, Threads, and TikTok @maryb.safrit. Found Family with MaryB. Safrit is available wherever you get podcasts. For more writing on community, faith, queerness, and relationships, join her Substack crew at marybsafrit.substack.com and check out her website marybsafrit.com.
