In this episode Shakira Brown a.k.a The Small Biz Whisperer is on location at the Future of Storytelling Festival (FoST FEST), which took place October 6-8 2017 at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island, NY. In it’s debut year, FoST FEST launched as the world’s first immersive storytelling expo open to the public. FoST FEST celebrates the changing nature of the audience from passive consumers of media to active participants in our stories. It featured a broad range of interactive technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and participatory activities including immersive theatre and live action role playing games.
The Small Biz Whisperer interviewed many of the content creators and captured sound from talks and experiences through the festival including:
Academy Award-Winning Director, Producer, Writer Steven Soderbergh shares insights about his HBO user interactive project “Mosaic.”
Alexander Mejia , CEO human interact provides an overview of his company and hes VR/AI game “Starship Commander.”
