In a relationship - there must be a balance and consideration of your partner and their needs. Being able to allow your partner to lead and be there for you is necessary. Relationships should allow your softer side to come through - just because you can do it alone - doesn’t mean you should or have to.

Honesty, openness, and transparency are the ingredients to maintaining and growing a loving relationship. Trust is built over time. A lack of trust in a relationship is detrimental to it.

How we view and express love often has its roots in our early experiences - rather good or bad. It is important that we ask ourselves how and what we were taught and if it’s accurate and seek to transform it based off of what God says it is.

Friendship are important. Two is better than one. Quality is more important than quantity. God created us for relationship but it is important that we understand that who we hang out with the most becomes who we are.

Life happens to us all, but don’t sweep the trauma under the rug. Claim your baggage and cast it over to Him who cares for you so that you can see Him through you clearly.
