  • Lynn Greenberg: Why Connection Matters More Than Ever

This week on Moments That Matter, I’m joined by Lynn Greenberg, founder of Pivt.

I’ve known Lynn for a number of years and have had the privilege of watching her build and grow a company around something that has become increasingly important to me as well: human connection.

During our conversation, Lynn shared a simple idea that stayed with me: it takes about seven seconds to send someone a text telling them they matter.

    Seven seconds.

At a time when technology and AI are becoming an increasingly large part of our lives, perhaps the opportunity isn't to retreat from technology — but to think more intentionally about how we use it to create meaningful human connection.

Lynn and I talk about entrepreneurship, loneliness, resilience, asking for help, purpose, and the relationships that sustain us along the way.

I really enjoyed this conversation — and I'm excited to share it.

  • Alex Boylan: The Power of Asking for Help

Alex Boylan is a childhood friend of mine, winner of Season 2 of CBS’s The Amazing Race, an Emmy-nominated producer, and creator and producer of the Amazon Prime series The College Tour.

Alex has spent much of his career traveling the world and building things, both in front of and behind the camera.

But that isn’t really what our conversation is about.

We talk about the people and moments underneath it all: his mother’s tough love and the work ethic it gave him, his willingness to start at the bottom of the entertainment industry even after winning The Amazing Race, the relationships that changed the trajectory of his life, and the times he was willing to ask for help.

Because when you look closely at almost any life, success is rarely a story of independence.

There are people who open doors. People who believe in us. People who help at exactly the right moment.

And sometimes the moment that matters is simply having the courage to ask.

This is a conversation about ambition, friendship, resilience, relationships—and the people who help us become who we are.
