Artresia Fryar was born and raised in Plainfield, NJ. She has a Bachelors degree in Business from William Paterson University. Ms Fryar also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Social Work. She has worked with several school outreach programs, correctional facilities for adolescents, and as a high school counselor. Ms Fryar is adamant about giving back to her community and uplifting the youth.

She is currently an adjunct professor at Union County College and a Field Liaison that mentors social work students at Rutgers University.

Deonna Shider is a wife, mother of four (Rest in Me Lil Dion) and a grandmother of five. For 23 years she's worked in the staffing industry and is a lover of life and all things family. At the age of 17 her son, Deon committed suicide after a long battle with mental illness. Deonna discusses how she's dealt with the loss of her son and how she continues to keep his spirit alive now.

Shamirah Briddle is our guest certified suicide prevention specialist. She helps us deal with the facts about suicide rates and what warning signs to look for with our teens and young adults. How mental illness can effect families for generations and how it is dealt with in the legal system.
