But the question is, are you really? I thought I was at one point but realized I was missing key points in my life dealing with money that I personally didn't know about. It hit me that this may be the case for most individuals. This episode will serve as a guide to help you figure out if you're missing any key points in your financial house. These tips have helped me plug the leaks in my personal financial house and I know it will help you too! Take a few minutes of your time and find out if you're doing good with money! How did life insurance come about? It actually goes back to the 1700's. Here in the U.S it was introduced in 1760. There are so many to choose from nowadays but back then there was only whole life. Whole life is one type of permanent policy. Our baby boomer generation is all they know. In this episode you'll learn more about what other options of permanent policies are out there and what would be best for you and your family. It really boils down to what do you want this insurance to do for you in your absence. In this episode I talk about the differences in each one and what to consider while you're shopping around. In previous episodes I've already discussed term policies, the pros and cons about them. Honestly, at the end of the day if term is all you can afford, then simply start there! The average American household debt is around $140K! It's no surprise most Americans are struggling. Especially when the annual median income is approximately $59K. So, how can someone like you and I get ourselves out of debt without relying on 3rd party companies? This is the question we will address in this episode. There are specific guidelines to follow to make it work. But like anything else, it takes time, discipline, and consistency to make it happen. Let's talk money honey! A few weeks ago the government was very generous with the American families. In order to boost the economy families were given free money. With that being said, a family of four received $5,600 dollars on average. The question becomes, what did these families do with the unexpected income?? Personally, I saw a whole lot of craziness going on. I truly wonder how many families put that money to work and compound for them? Did they splurge and purchase want items versus using it on necessities?? Better yet, how should've these families managed this money?? Listen in and find out!!!

My last episode was about what to look out for when buying a home. Guess what? We did just that! We closed escrow towards the end of October. We were so excited and looking forward to moving in, hosting our family Thanksgiving dinner and possibly Christmas too. Unfortunately, God had other plans and completely unexpected to say the least.
