Today, Moms Convicted was blessed to have our dear friend and mentor, Ginger Rich, on the pod. Ginger is a Faithful Servant of Jesus, a Mother, a friend, and Owner of Reflections Salon in Lakeside, CA.

Coming from an upbringing that involved poverty, homelessness, and addiction... Ginger made it through by her Faith in Jesus.

She graciously shares some of her trials and tribulations with us and blows our minds with her recounts of miracles in her life and moments that only the Lord could have brought her through.

She is the real deal, walking the real walk with Jesus Christ, and we know that her testimony is going to touch so many of your hearts.

We're baaaaack. And even though it took us nearly two whole months to do it, we finally have a new episode for you guys. Obviously, we needed to catch up on what the Lord has been doing in our lives and update you guys as well as each other. Rachel celebrates 7 years of recovery during the filming of this episode. It is an absolute miracle that she is clean and we are so grateful for her testimony and the continued work God is doing in her. Hey Guys! We are back with another episode. Taking a short break from our series in the book of John to talk about something very close to our hearts right now- forgiveness. Did you know that unforgiveness is a sin?... We didn't realize how much this sin is affecting our lives until we were convicted by the Holy Spirit. We both took some time to learn about what it says in the Word and what it means to forgive and we spend this episode taking turns sharing what we learned and our own experiences with forgiveness and reconciliation.

Back in our bibles, we are studying John Chapter 7. This is such a good portion of scripture you guys!!! Jesus is in Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles and teaching publicly. This section builds up to one of the most important statements in the entire Gospels about the Holy Spirit. (John 7:38-39)

Jesus uses a physical element (water) to symbolize a spiritual element (The Holy Spirit). Before this point in history, the Holy Spirit only came upon people for assignment. (Moses, David, Samson). In John Chapter 7, Jesus points toward Holy Spirit being sent out after His Glorification.

This is so important. Because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, we know have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. "Rivers of Living Water."

Wow.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!!! This episode is basically just us chatting about motherhood and life. We briefly cover the story of Rahab the Prostitute and how the women in the geneology of Jesus were used by God through obedience to bring us he Messiah. We want to go deep on this in a full episode in the future.

Other than that, we are just yapping about the journey of motherhood and how much we appreciate each other and the other moms in our lives. It truly takes a village. There aren't words to describe the transformation motherhood makes in a women, but we are so, so grateful to be doing it with Jesus.

Hey Guys!

Wow, it's been a few weeks and we do apologize for the delay on this episode. Then enemy was coming at us from all angles every time we tried to record. We even did this entire episode then had a technical difficulty and couldn't publish it. HOWEVER, we have cancelled the enemy's assignment against this podcast IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME and we will not stop getting the Gospel to you no matter what.

This episode covers John 6 where Jesus miraculously feeds the 5000 and later loses followers that don't understand what He is preaching. The major take away from this episode is "Do you know without a doubt that Jesus is who He says He is?" and also "Do you seek His face or do you seek what He can do for you?"

Jeanette Bradley, Rachel's Aunt, our mentor, and dear friend came on the podcast today to share her testimony. She tells us her story of trials, heartbreak, hope, and forgiveness through the eyes of woman who is so in love with Jesus.

There were so many moments and lessons in this episode and one thing that really stood out was "forgiveness." We are called to forgive other and to forgive ourselves.

This was a powerful conversation for us and we are forever grateful that God gave us Aunt Jeanette. This definitely won't be her only appearance on the podcast.

Diving in the Word today, we get in to John Chapter 5. Jesus visits the Pool of Bethesda, where sick people have been laying around waiting for the waters of the pool to heal them. Jesus heals a man that has been unable to walk for 38 years. Before doing so he asks the man "Do you want to get well?"

We discuss this miracle and the fact that Pharisee's didn't even care about it because they only cared that Jesus broke the rules and healed on the Sabbath.

This is where we see Jesus show us that He is equal to God. Knowing scripture doesn't equal knowing God and the Pharisees had spiritual blindness.

John 5 reminds us that it's possible to be close to truth, study truth, and still miss the person of Jesus- and that true life is found not in religion, but in relationship with Him.
