On March 23, Monaco took a proactive step towards road safety as Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène attended the inaugural Road Safety Day at the Esplanade of Larvotto Beach. Organised by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the event promoted awareness and education on responsible driving and pedestrian safety.
Environmental and marine conservation took centre stage at the 16th Monaco Blue Initiative, held at the Oceanographic Museum on March 24 under the patronage of Prince Albert II. The event brought together global experts and policymakers to address pressing issues in ocean sustainability and the protection of marine ecosystems.
In a move promoting sport as a tool for peace, Prince Albert II joined Peace and Sport on March 26 to officially launch the 2025 White Card campaign in Monaco. This initiative continues to highlight the power of sport in fostering unity and social development worldwide.
Monaco also welcomed a special visitor from the French Navy as the multi-mission vessel BSAM Loire made a three-day port call from March 25. The visit provided a unique opportunity for Monaco’s residents and visitors to gain insight into France’s maritime capabilities and naval operations.
On the basketball front, the Roca Team delivered thrilling performances on the EuroLeague stage. On March 25, they overcame Žalgiris Kaunas in a dramatic overtime battle, securing a 96-86 victory.
