The 2023 QMJHL playoffs have begun and all 8 series are at 2-0 but only 2 of them are being aren't lead by the favourite! We take a look into the 7 other series that change venues, and who has a chance to get back into there series.

The Wildcats had home ice, Easter Weekend they laid an egg. The Wildcats are down 0-2 in the series to Chicoutimi, where they have controlled most of the series but just haven't been able to be rewarded for that, and now what has to change to get back in the series.

The time has come, the regular season is over and the seeding is finished and we know now who we play in Round 1 its a matchup with the hottest team in the QMJHL in the past 20 games (16-4) Chicoutimi Sagueneens. So who are we picking in this series, well it was a tough choice.

We also go around the QMJHL to preview all the other matchups and if we see any upsets or will it be status quo?!

The Wildcats have an under whelming home stand, losing both games to the Eagles, who we want nothing to do in the playoffs, but we FINALLY broke the streak as we beat the Mooseheads AT HOME!!

While we are hanging onto 3rd in the conference but can we stay there, going to be a exciting final week in the Western Conference Playoff Race with Wildcats-Eagles-Sags & Oceanic.

2 weeks left in the regular season and the playoff races are heating up as we come down the stretch, and as we look ahead to the playoff, do we forecast an upset?!

Some injury news around the league and we know the next class of QMJHL Hall of Famers.

2-1 on the weekend for the Wildcats sets up nicely to continue to stay in 3rd in the conference, but this is a crucial week coming up with 3 straight home playoff games vs opponents for the first 2 rounds, so you wanna set the tone for home ice if we meet these teams.

Jeremy is back from his "scouting mission", so were back with a little draft talk as the new CSR list was released, and some names that have caught Boucher's eye.

The Wildcats go 1-1 on the weekend, but they looked a little different in those games as Dan Lacroix was not behind the bench (family matter) and there was a different feel in BOTH games from the Wildcats and it was quite noticable.

And we finally have a FAN BUS TRIP!!!!!!

We had some BIG news this past week as the QMJHL voted & announced that the league will reduce the schedule from 68 to 64 games, each team dropping 2 home and 2 road games. Our guess would of course be divisional games, but with less games with the tickets be less?

Well we're coming down the home stretch as we finish the month of February, but it was an up and down finish to the weekend. They got 3 of 6 points, surviving in Bathurst behind Warren preformance, outlasted Isles on Sat and forgot to show up Sunday.

The Wildcats have punched there ticket to the QMJHL playoffs as they qualified sunday for the postseason after a much better weekend for the Wildcats.

Quick Question from fan Ryan on the play of Grenier this season.

The Wildcats took 5 of 6 points on the weekend including 3 of 4 from Maritimes Division leading Mooseheads.

The Superbowl LVIII is behind us, we discussed the game, the halftime show and some this or that Superbowl snack wise.

We're back and we tried REALLY hard to find the positives from this past Quebec road trip where the Wildcats lost all 3 and have now lost 8 of 10 to end January and start into February. Who is accountable to what's happened in this streak, is this team a contender or pretender as we get closer to the playoffs?!

We teamed up with our friends at Kelseys to have a "Night out on the Wildcast Podcast", stay tuned to IG to find out how you can win 2 tix to game vs Drakkar Feb 29 & $50 food voucher from Kelseys!!

As we get ready for final Quebec roadie starting in Baie-Comeau we had a chance to chat with our friend from the Drakcast Louis-William Gagne about the Drakkar start, the playoff pressure and new rivals with Moncton?
