New Haven Police are putting out a warning, telling residents to be extra careful when setting up meetups through Facebook Marketplace. According to authorities, there’s been a recent spike in robberies tied to Marketplace deals, with suspects using fake listings to lure people in before targeting them in person. The message is simple: if you’re buying or selling something, meet in a well-lit, public place—and maybe bring a friend along just to be safe.
In other totally normal Connecticut news… there’s apparently a serial street pooper on the loose in Torrington. Yes, you read that correctly. Residents are dealing with an ongoing mystery that sounds like something straight out of a bad sitcom, but unfortunately, it’s very real—and very gross.
Meanwhile, things are looking a little more civilized over in Brookfield, where a brand-new Starbucks has opened up, complete with a drive-thru. Because if there’s one thing Connecticut loves, it’s convenience and caffeine.
On the show, the guys also dove into the latest on Artemis II, breaking down the splashdown and what it means moving forward, while somehow also managing to give an update on what can only be described as a chimpanzee civil war happening in parts of Africa. It’s one of those sentences you never think you’ll say out loud, but here we are.
And if you thought things couldn’t get weirder, Joey Buttafuoco is back in the headlines—this time because he’s apparently figured out how to use TikTok. What a time to be alive.
To wrap it all up, Lou and Dave introduced what might be the next big character on the show: Big Daddy Dave… a man who may very well be one of the dumbest human beings walking the Earth. And honestly, that’s saying something.
