At any and all points in history, there’ve been people who try to capitalize on other’s weaknesses or insecurities; they make empty promises in order to lead them astray. Pastor Bill reminds us today how important it is to have a solid foundation in Christ. To come to Him because you know you need His saving grace, and not because you want to get rich, is vital for a lasting relationship. Christ requires your attention and love and time, and if you build a strong foundation in Him, He’s never going to turn away.
