We're starting a multi-week journey through the Gospel according to St. John today. I'm using, among other resources, L. William Countryman's book, The Mystical Way in the Fourth Gospel (Morehourse, 1994). Today's text is the Prologue of John's Gospel, Chapter 1:1-18.

The chant tones I'm using come from the ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠Plainsong Psalter⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠, although I modify the language of the Psalm occasionally using the ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠Inclusive Language Psalter⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ ⁠and other resources.
