When we look at the lives of the followers of Jesus, there were many times when the Apostles didn’t fully understand the bigger picture. Even after Jesus said He would die on the cross and rise again, they were confused, and when He was arrested, they dispersed. It wasn’t until they saw Him alive three days later that they realized He wasn’t just a man, but the Son of God.
