One of the things I have always struggled with is not being good at things right away. Certain things always came easy - but, the things that didn't, I usually would quit. This was true with sports, jiu-jitsu, and almost even producing this podcast!
In this quick Monday Minute, I talk about the importance of embracing being a beginner. Don't be afraid to suck at something new! 14 years ago, I quit jiu-jitsu... Imagine where I would be right now if I hadn't?! I would certainly be a black belt. Yet, because of my ego and pride, here I am starting over at white belt. But I'm not choosing to focus on what might have been...but instead, the potential of all to come by NOT being afraid to suck at it and learn at my own pace.
