Tim Challies defines productivity as "effectively stewarding my gifts, talents, time, energy, and enthusiasm for the good of others and the glory of God."
I've changed my thinking around productivity from something that serves me to more of a stewardship issue. God has entrusted us with gifts and skills and time and money and people, and if we are NOT productive with those things it shows poor stewardship.
It's not just so you can get more done, check off more boxes on your to-do list, add more things to the list, and continue the dreaded cycle. It's so that you can be more active in the work God is doing and be a good steward of the gifts he has given us.

Here we go - 10 things that I'm loving right now. Some of these things are very dad-esque, so you're welcome...this is a dad podcast after all.
It's official! We have a 6 year old in the house now. This week I sit down with the greatest co-host ever to share 6 things I love about Grace and talk about a little surprise trip to celebrate her birthday.
This is an episode for my pessimists! I won't call you out, you know who you are. Don't worry, soon I'll share 10 things I'm loving, but for now I need to get some of these off my chest! Now here's the deal, these are meant to be fun and funny for the most part. These may be very petty and first world problems, but they're things that have ever so slightly been getting under my skin.
Yes, it has been more than 1 year since you've heard from me! Let's get our wins up together!

Hey dads - when's the last time you cried? While the world tells us we should "man up" and not show emotion, the Bible tells us how we can show emotion and respond to our feelings in a godly way.
How can dads help set the temperature in the room like a thermostat instead of a thermometer?
Do you have to insert yourself in every situation or is there room for kids to figure it out themselves?
How does the way you were raised contribute to how you treat your kids?
What's the ultimate goal as dads when we're dealing with our kids' emotions?
How are we entertained? How should parents treat screen time? How do you filter content for your kids? What do we do when things slip through the cracks? Is there anything good that comes from screen time?
